Last year, I had a wonderful autumn break that I still cherish. My family decided to take a trip to the countryside to enjoy the beauty of the season. We packed our bags and drove off early on a Saturday morning. The drive was peaceful, and the scenery was breathtaking as the leaves changed colors.
When we arrived at our destination, we settled into a cozy cottage surrounded by trees with leaves in shades of red, orange, and yellow. The first day, we went hiking in the nearby woods. The crisp air was refreshing, and the sound of crunching leaves under our feet was satisfying. In the evenings, we gathered around the fireplace, sharing stories and roasting marshmallows.
The next day, we visited a local apple orchard where we picked apples and enjoyed fresh apple cider. The orchard was vibrant with families and laughter, making it a joyful experience. We also took a hayride, which was a new and fun experience for me.
On our final day, we spent time by a nearby lake, watching the sunset and reflecting on our short but memorable break. The calm water and the colorful sky created a perfect ending to our trip.
Returning home, I felt rejuvenated and grateful for the time spent with my family in such a beautiful setting. Autumn break had given us not just a pause from our daily routines, but also lasting memories to hold onto.
